The Poggio Del Sole Resort, originally built in 1879 as an old fashioned rural residence, was carefully restructured and expanded in 2006 by the present owners.
On the road from Ragusa leading to the sea, Poggio del Sole Resort (‘Sun’s Hill Resort’) dominates the charming Hyblean plateau amid a mixture of rugged valleys and hills, carob and olive trees, and a thick lattice of dry stone walls. Situated in the heart of the Ragusa countryside, the old fashioned building hosts 3 suites, the refined Dell’Angelo (‘of the Angel’) restaurant, the Degli Archi (‘of the Arches’) conference room and a Lounge Bar.
