Occupying a wing of the magnificent Castle of the Counts of Biandrate, this small and exclusive hotel, opened in 2006, boasts panoramic views of the surrounding centuries-old park and the Alps.
Standing on a rocky outcrop above the town, the castle was originally designed as a military fortress, but was rebuilt several times over the centuries. In 1726, its medieval towers were demolished to make room for a majestic palace consisting of a long three-storey building, with three projecting wings separated by courtyards.
Guests will marvel at this palace, with its vast central hall, which rises up through the full height of the building and leads to guestrooms that stand out for their beautiful polychrome decorations.

Cet hôtel trois étoiles convivial est situé à cinq minutes de route seulement du centre-ville historique d'Ivrée et offre une très belle vue panoramique sur les Alpes depuis la terrasse du petit déjeuner.
La vieille ville d'Ivrée abrite de très nombreuses ruines romaines, notamment le très bel amphithéâtre près de C. so Vercelli, une petite partie du système d'égouts et les vestiges de constructions visibles sous la banque S. Paolo de la place Piazza Balla. Vous pouvez aussi visiter la magnifique cathédrale romaine, ou église de San Bernardino, qui a conservé une série de fresques peintes aux environs de 1480 par Gianmartino Spanzotti.
Pour un séjour plus actif, le parc national Gran Paradiso est un site parfait pour les excursions avec entre autres : chemins de randonnées, sentiers muletiers, alpinisme et ski.
