All rooms at le Chalet Blanc are beautifully furnished with handmade beds and equipped with a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi internet access, a direct dial telephone and private bathrooms with towels, bathrobes and slippers. All rooms have an evening turn-down service and 24 hour room service. A cot can be accommodated in some rooms at an additional cost.

The hotel restaurant offers spectacular views of the mountains. The menus have been crafted by a team of gourmets who prepare seasonal dishes with delicious local ingredients.

Area information

Just a couple of kilometres from the Italian border, Montgenèvre is France’s oldest ski resort and the only French part of the famous Milky Way ski circuit. It offers expert, intermediate and beginner slopes as well as nursery slopes and ski schools for the little ones.

The Montgenèvre ski area is served by 39 lifts with chairs and drags and has a 100km of downhill pistes. Reach the summit at Le Chalet and take in the spectacular vistas before an exhilarating ski back down to the village. Or upgrade to a Milky Way lift pass and explore another 400km of pistes across the Italian border.

Snowboarders will enjoy Montgenèvre’s snow park which has a quarter pipe, projump, gap and rope tow. There are also cross-country skiing and snow-shoe trekking available on the resort. Lastly, the whole family is welcome to enjoy the ice-skating rink.

Travel information

By road:
Montgenèvre is situated only 30 minutes from the Fréjus tunnel. Alternatively, you can take the railway to Grenoble and then follow the signs to Briançon/Montgenèvre. Underground parking is available at the hotel.
By air:
From Turin Airport to Montgenèvre is only 75 minutes by road. Geneva and Milan Airports are 2 hours 30 minutes by road. Grenoble, Lyon and Chambéry airports are 2 hours drive away. We are happy to arrange airport transfers by chauffeured limousine, taxi or minibus.
By rail:
The nearest train stations are Briançon (12km away) which has regular trains from Paris and Marseille. Or Oulx 20km away in Italy which is served by trains from all over Italy and the TGV from Paris (which takes 4 hours 30mins). You can then reach Montgenèvre by taxi or local buses.
