Our guest house was recently completely renovated, taking care to maintain the precious details such as the beautiful 19th century marble floors and wood beamed ceilings.
We are located in a quiet alley a few hundred metres from one of the most beautiful of Lucca's gates, merely a 10 minute walk to the old town and just outside the famous walls. Our location offers private parking, but as we are so close to Lucca’s main attractions you can leave your car behind, while you explore the ancient architecture.
Next door there is a famous pastry shop, where guests can get their breakfast or a quick snack at any time of the day.
All the rooms are equipped with modern amenities, decorated in the traditional Italian style, with warm and comfortable furnishings and light colours that lend your stay a feeling of historic tranquillity.

Our hotel is located 300 metres just outside the walls of Lucca.
The centre can be reached in 10 minutes by foot.
The bus station can be reached in 5 minutes by foot.
The train station is 5 minutes by car and 15 minutes by foot.
Pisa airport is 40 minutes by car.
The A11 and A12 motorways are 5 minutes by car.
All amenities are within walking distance.
Travel information
By Car:
- Exit at Lucca Ovest.
- Once you have paid, make sure you don’t go straight on, do a right and then a left turn following the sign for 'Tourist Information'.
- Go straight on at the traffic lights.
- Pass over the railway bridge and turn right at the very end of it.
- Drive for 200 metres, and then you'll see a pizzeria called One Penny on the left-hand side, turn left here.
- At the next stop, turn right.
- You are now in Via Pisana. Drive along for 200 metres, you will find a pastry shop called Stella on the right-hand side, in front of a petrol station. Here you will find the hotel.
From Pisa:
- Exit at Lucca Est.
- You'll see a Mc Donald's on your right, keep driving towards the centre.
- Go straight on at the traffic lights and pass over the railway bridge.
- At the end of it you will find a roundabout (the walls are just in front of you), do a left there and follow the sign for Sant'Anna (second exit on the roundabout).
- Straight on after the traffic light, you'll find another roundabout: take the third exit (Via Carignani).
- Go straight on at the stop sign, you are now in Via Pisana.
- After about 100 metres you will see the blue sign "Stella" in front of a petrol station.
- Here is the hotel.
