This fascinating four-star hotel is located in the idyllic countryside of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Modica, just 4 km from the clear Mediterranean sea and 1.5 hours from Malta.
Once used as an attractive resting place for people travelling on horseback, the hotel today is a modern residence surrounded by a relaxing Arabic/Mediterranean-style garden. Although the hotel has been completely refurbished in a modern, contemporary design, care has been taken to retain the charming, interwoven cane ceilings, chestnut beams, stone walls and pleasing warm colours.

The 8 airy and peaceful rooms include 2 Suites which combine all modern comforts with beautiful artistic and architectonic design. All rooms offer a telephone, fax, hydro-massage, central internet connection and satellite TV.
Whilst the Suites overlook a central courtyard, at the centre of which is a very old carob tree, the six guest rooms on the ground floor each have a private veranda overlooking the countryside.

Although the hotel does not offer a restaurant, there is a recommended restaurant just 200 metres from the hotel.
Moreover, the hotel staff will be on-hand 24 hours a day to suggest several places in Modica, Pozzallo, on the beach and in the surrounding area, where you can enjoy authentic Sicilian cuisine.
Area information
This stunning area houses numerous buildings reconstructed in the Barocco style following an earthquake at the end of the 17th century. Wander around the area and discover the different cultures and ancient denominations in Sicily.

By Car:
From Catania:
- Take the SS 114 towards Siracusa, and then follow the SS 194 towards Ragusa.
- Follow the signs to Modica and the signs to Pozzallo-Siracusa.
- When you are nearly at Pozzallo, take the exit to Pozzallo Nord and drive for 4 km on the SP 45 towards Modica.
From Siracusa:
- Take the SS 115 Noto - Ragusa and continue to Avola, Noto, Rosolini and Ispica.
- When you reach Ispica, head towards Pozzallo for 5 km and follow the sign to Ragusa and Pozzallo Nord, where you proceed to Modica for 4 km on the SP 45.
