Next to the hotel, our Winebar Restaurant Vino al Vino, is a further extention of the hotel's splendour for the impressive location (facing the Ciuffenna river) and the Chef's ability. Clients can enjoy dishes of the tuscan cuisine accompanied by a wide selection of national and international wines, attentively chosen by our experienced Maitre. During summer and springtime all meals can be also served in our Terrace of Vino al Vino, a beautiful openspace facing the river, with white gazebos. Dimora Casa Eugenia offers the opportunity of a private dining room, called Sala degli Archi, for a maximum of 35 persons. The ideal spot for important business lunch or private wedding reception.
Area information
Dimora Casa Eugenia is located in the historical center of the medieval village of Loro Ciuffenna, a town blessed by nature and art, between the right bank of the Arno and the Pratomagno massif. A paradise of olive groves, old churches and villages full of an atmosphere of the past. The position of Loro permits a relaxing stay, not to far from the major Tuscan cities as Siena, Florence and Siena. Next to Dimora Casa Eugenia there are the famous Parish Church of Gropina (a magnificent example of Romanesque architecture dating the eleventh century) and Ponte a Buriano (bridge) which is better known as the background of "La Gioconda" by Leonardo da Vinci. For those who are fashion lovers the Prada and The mall outlets are located in the surroundings.
Travel information
By car: from Florence take A1 Motorway, south direction, Exit Valdarno (km 46), turn right and then left to Terranuova Bracciolini and Loro Ciuffenna (about Km 8).from Rome: take A1 Motorway north direction, Exit Valdarno and all as above.
By train: Florence SMN railway station- from 8.00am to 10.00pm. Every 30 minutes leaves a train which stops in Montevarchi-Terranuova railway station. it takes about 35 minutes by Ir Train and about 55 minutes by R train. Rome Termini railway station- from 6.00am to 7.00pm every 2 hours leaves a R or IC train which stop in Montevarchi (about 3 hours ride). Otherwise can take a faster train to Arezzo (about 1 and a half hour) and change to Montevarchi-Terranuova train station.
