Renovated in 2000 to offer a modern and comfortable service, Emmaus Hotel has 75 rooms and 154 beds. All the rooms are comfortable, quiet, furnished with simple and refined taste, and overlooked the charming view on the Ionian coast or of the thick wood of the mount. Sicilian potteries decorating the lampshades, wrought iron headboards made by local craftsmen, dark cherry tree wooden furniture and molten volcanic rock details make the Hotel precious and create a friendly atmosphere.

In the wide and bright rooms of its restaurant, the Hotel offers a typical and refined cuisine. Its fresh ingredients come from local production and are carefully selected. Traditional dishes are enriched by chef’s imagination who made them more delicious and refined, creating a symphony of colors and tastes, a fusion between different cultures that influenced the territory since old age. Porcini mushrooms, the juicy apples of mount Etna, the pistachio of Bronte, the sweetness of the honey and the Sicilian pastry, will win the most gourmand palates, everything in a smart frame and a careful, professional and polite service.

From the Catania International airport “Fontanarossa” continue the journey by car or by bus.
By car
From the motorway exit (A18 Catania-Messina) to Giarre or Acireale, continue in the direction to Zafferana Etnea, to SP92, and then in the direction to the Hotel Emmaus.
By bus
Zafferana Etnea is reached from Catania, through Giarre or Acireale. Bus service from Catania has two daily stops just in the wide parking of the hotel.
By train
Ferrovie Fs - Trenitalia. It is possible to get off at the railway stations of Catania, Giarre or Acireale and from there continue by bus (AST bus service) to Zafferana Etnea. Bus service from Catania has two daily stops just in the wide parking of the hotel.
