With spectacular views over the Baia Dei Ciclopi, the Norman castle of Acicastello and the Faraglioni rocks, the hotel is right on the seafront in the heart of Acitrezza, an ancient fishing village.
On the Sicilian coastline, between the seaside towns of Taormina and Catania, Acitrezza is a pretty ancient fishing village and the ideal spot to enjoy a relaxing break in Sicily. Each of the hotel’s rooms has a small balcony and the hotel’s eye-catching cylindrical design provides the ideal opportunity to breathe in the magnificent panoramic views.
Legend has it that, during his journeys in the Mediterranean, Ulysses landed on an island inhabited by a giant with one eye, Polifemo. When Ulysses escaped, the giant flung rocks at Ulysses’ departing ship – these rocks still survive and are known as the Faraglioni.
