Designed by Mario Loreti in 1938, this 4-star hotel is set in the historic centre of Rome, on Esquilino; the highest of Rome’s 7 hills.
Offering a magnificent panoramic view of Rome, it was initially designed to be a hotel in the grand European style and this goal has indeed been fulfilled; with 254 rooms on 10 floors, the building stands at over 50 metres high.
Its interior design is inspired by a monumental and understated luxury; the lobby is adorned with marble busts of Roman Emperors and mosaics portraying the departure and return of Udysses to Ithaca, the young Telemacus, Penelope and his dog Argus. The decoration is dominated by precious woods and marble, and a sea motif is present throughout the hotel.

Follow indications for Rome, joining the Grande Raccordo Annulare (G.R.A)
Staying on the Frenze-Roma highway, keep in the direction of Via Salaria Centro, leading into Rome.
Follow indications to Centro, watching for indications to Stazione Termini or Colosseum. The Mediterraneo is located on Via Cavour.
By Train:
From Leonardo DaVinci Airport:
Within the airport terminal you will find the local train which takes you directly to Termini Railway station. From there you can get on to Via Cavour which is located at the station's Main Exit of Cavour. Walk straight on Via Cavour for about 200 metres and you will find the hotel on your right after crossing the first main crossroads of Via Cavour and Via Amendola.
