The complex of Pietre Gemelle Resort is the result of a long project which was started in 2005, its aimm was to reconstruct of buildings existing in the area. All of the apartments are tastefully decorated and equipped with useful accessories, they have indipendent heating system, colour satellite television, telephone with internal line, tableware, and linen for kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms; some apartments also have private balconies.The reconstruction of the original buildings was well thought - out and has been carried out with great skill, to create a welcoming refuge, characteristic in style but functional and creative. A meeting place for spirit, mind and body, where environment, nature, sport and well-being are returned to a real equilibrium.
Room information
The large French doors from floor to ceiling with spectacular view of Monte Rosa or Riva Valdobbia village give the bedroom, pleasantly wood-panelled, a spectacular brightness. The room features a double bed, or twin bed, and often a desk for those who have to combine vacation and work.
Area information
Considered the "greenest valley" in italy, the Valsesia stretches from the slopes of the southern wall of Monte Rosa along the Sesia river to Romagnano Sesia and links itself with smaller yet no less fascinatingvalleys, covering about 760 sq km of territory both diverse and bewitching, which for centuries has seduced visitors from all over the world.
Alagna is the jewel of the Valsesia. Time has not changed this beautiful village: visitors wanting to know this area are still fascinated by the undamaged nature of Alagna, from its groups of old flowered wooden houses, its history and well-rooted traditions to the recent constructions which have been erected to coincide with a reality whichhas been preserved over time but is proud to be able to offer all modern comforts.
Travel information
From Milano and Malpensa airport A8 and A26 motorway, direction Alessandria and Genova Voltri, Romagnano Sesia exit. Then higway 299, Alagna direction. At the end of the valley, after the second tunnel, 1 km and the Resort is at the right side.
