Situated in the stunning Tuscan countryside, La Contessa is an extensive complex offering an array of impressive amenities and optimum levels of comfort in a picturesque setting.
The hotel provides an excellent assortment of accommodation with 21 apartments which sleep from 2 to 4 people. All are equipped with Satellite TV, safe, and air-conditioning (12 hours a day only in July and August) and heating from November to March.
Take advantage of the outdoor swimming-pool open from June to September, dine in the restaurant and pamper yourself in the beauty centre.

Residence „ La Contessa“ is an antique country hotel that is located in the Tuscany. It was carefully renovated and consists of a main building with 3 levels and 18 apartments with different categories. Guests can choose between 2 wonderful suites, a dependence with 3 flats and an antique fireplace that is surrounded by Mediterranean plants.
Some elements of the building still remind guests of the famous patrician building it used to be. All apartments are equipped with all common facilities. Guests can also use the outside barbecue area. The hotel offers weekend or weekly stays with or without service as well as combined packages with half-board included or various activities e.g. boat trips and riding. Enjoy a respite in a unique ambiance.
Food & beverage
The Restaurant the Taverna dell’Amico Fritz serves a wide choice of typical Tuscan and local dishes accompanied by quality Italian and local wines.

All around the village, you’ll have rows of vines and olive groves of the Tuscan countryside; at only 10 km, the pine woods of the Mediterranean bush, laid on the Gulf of Baratti and the most beautiful beaches of the Etruscan coast. The surroundings of the village are rich of wine cellars of the ‘road of wine’, and historical centres like Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto, Populonia, Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri. For golf players, at only 20 km from our village, you will find the Golf Club Toscana.

From North: Take highway A12 Genova-Rosignano, until Rosignano. Than take the highway SS1 Livorno – Grosseto with direction Grosseto (or Rome) until Venturina.
At Venturina follow the indications for Cafaggio (suvereto). At Cafaggio turn right and continue for 2 km.
From South: Take highway A12 Rome – Civitavecchia. At Civitavecchia take highway Grosseto- Livorno direction Livorno until Venturina.
At Venturina follow the indications for Cafaggio (suvereto). At Cafaggio turn right and continue for 2 km.
