Dating back to the 13th-century, this beautiful Tuscan farmhouse offers an idyllic setting on top of a hill which enjoys enchanting views over the valleys of Chianti.
Recently renovated by the Grifoni family, the building remains faithful to the original design which dates back to the 1200s. Fully equipped with an elegant swimming pool in a panoramic position, dipped between the hills of the Tuscan countryside, each environment has been redesigned with every comfort in mind to ensure a pleasurable stay.
Located in Chianti, just outside the charming town of Impruneta, the town is situated on the famous strada del vino (road of wine), which winds its way through the wine country of Chianti from Florence to Siena, allowing easy access to some of the most important cities of the Renaissance.

Travel information
By car:
- Take the A1 motorway.
- Exit at Firenze Certosa.
- Follow directions to Ipruneta (6 km).
- Turn left after the Shell gas station, following the directions to Pozzolatico.
- Continue for about 700 metres and turn right into Via Falcone.
- At the end of it you will get to Via Codacci, turn left; the hotel is the first big house that you will see on the left.
- Take the A1 motorway.
- Exit at Firenze Sud.
- Follow the road for 10 km in the direction of Impruneta.
- Pass through Grassina to Chiantigiana on the SS 222.
- Pass the Ugolino Golf Club and turn right in the direction of Impruneta.
- After the village, turn right in the direction of Pozzolatico.
- Continue for about 700 metres and turn right into Via Falcone.
- At the end of it you will get to Via Codacci, turn left; the hotel is the first big house that you will see on the left.
From Vespucci airport, Florence:
- Follow the road in the direction of Porta Romana Square.
- Continue in the direction of Galluzzo and A1 motorway - Siena.
- Follow the directions to Impruneta (don’t get on the motorway to Siena or A1).
- After about 6 km, turn left after the Shell gas station, following the directions to Pozzolatico.
- Continue for about 700 metres and turn right into Via Falcone.
- At the end of it you will get to Via Codacci, turn left; the hotel is the first big house that you will see on the left.
By bus:
There are daily bus services from Santa Maria Novella railway station.
