One of the oldest hotels on the lake, Santa Caterina was renovated and enlarged in 1993.
Santa Caterina has just 30 rooms, guaranteeing its guests attentive, individual service and a unique and friendly experience.
Situated at the entrance to Orta San Giulio, the inn is just a few minutes from the town’s historic centre and the island. The Holy Mount is approximately 10 minutes away and the train station is just 5 minutes away.
A quiet path leads from Santa Caterina out to some of the area’s most interesting and beautiful points, with beautiful panoramic views of the stunning natural beauty of the landscape.
The bed and breakfast is perfect for independent travellers, informal guests and those exploring the region as tourists. There are three types of room available including superior, green superior and family rooms. There is an attractive and pleasant garden, a room in which guest can relax, an internet point and a free welcome point in the afternoon, which offers snacks and drinks.
Every day a buffet breakfast is available that will satisfy every requirement.

- Exit at Arona; Borgomanero (if you come from Milano); or Gravellona Toce (if you come from Domodossola or Suisse).
- Join the SS 229 for Orta San Giulio.
By Train:
Take the Novara-Domodossola line and stop at Orta-Miasino. Or, from Milano, change for route Novara-Milano before stopping at Orta-Miasino.
By Air:
Milano Malpensa Airport, Linate Airport and Orio al Serio (Bergamo) are all easily accessible.
