Hotel information
The Zanetta family have been the owners of Villa Aminta since 2000. After thorough and detailed historical research into the period in which the structure was originally built, the Zanetta family oversaw the restoration of the villa to its former splendour. Today, the hotel has been carefully restored and sensitively renovated with elegance and taste. This 5-star hotel now offers a fusion of state-of-the-art technology and the villa’s original elegance. Villa Aminta combines a high standard of modern comforts and facilities with the elegance and refinement of a bygone age, creating a fairytale ambience.
Reinterpreting the concept of the family villa at the turn of the century, it is in the details that the hotel’s quality really shines through. The villa has been embellished with antique furniture, stuccos, chandeliers, precious wallpapers, arabesques and oriental arches, in homage to its historical relationship with the Venetian Republic, which was once known as The Doorway to the Orient.
The hotel also now boasts Stresa, a new and luxurious temple of well-being. From spring 2008, the Palazzo Aminta Beauty Spa will offer exclusive and personalised programs to rebalance the body and the soul. The spa will be staffed by a team of experienced and dedicated professionals, including doctors, physiotherapists, masseurs, beauticians, personal trainers and cosmetologists, all coordinated by Professor Nicola Sorrentino, a specialist much sought after by stars and personalities from the worlds of culture and fashion. The hotel will offer a wide range of the highest quality relaxing and therapeutic spa and beauty treatments and facilities, including anti-stress therapies, Remise En Forme programmes for new mothers and phlebology. The wellness centre will also offer 4-handed massages with essential hot oils, seaweed therapies, thermal mud baths and exfoliating, hydrating and revitalizing face and body treatments using state-of-the-art methods. The facilities will include a Zen meditation room for the deepest relaxation, hydrotherapy facilities and a hammam.
Inaugurated in 2007, the fitness area is equipped with Technogym exercise equipment and flat-screen plasma TVs with satellite channels offering a high level of entertainment. The fitness area features Eastern décor, and a design inspired by the inlays of the extraordinary Taj Mahal.
