A few lines are not enough to describe the enchantment of Villa Malpensa, a beautiful early-XXth century Villa. In the past it was the sumptuous residence of Count Caproni. It is placed in a huge private garden in the characteristic medieval village of Vizzola Ticino, in the Ticino natural park.

Villa Malpensa is only 800 metres from the Intercontinental Airport of Milano Malpensa Terminal 1 and it is recommended for those who want to reach the airport in a few minutes.

After years of patient restorations, the Villa offers itself as a privileged hotel, the perfect location for meetings, banquets and receptions. The hotel has a large private parking with over 100 parking spaces.

The Villa is in a fine Liberty style, with the porch at the entrance and the lateral conservatory on wrought handcrafted iron, that belonged to the historical Central Train Station of Milan. The elegant four stars hotel is furnished with style, rich of atmosphere, quietness and comfort, all things that charm those who are looking for a refined pleasure or business stay.

Thanks to its position the hotel is situated strategically out of the plane routes to assure its guests a quiet stay, plunged on a green area and far from the acoustic pollution. Room information

The hotel has 65 rooms, eight of whom big superior ones, some with the balcony and a suite. All the rooms are comfortable and have all the modern comforts, self controlled heating and air conditioning, satellite TV colour, radio diffusion,mini bar, direct phone line with connection to a modem, hair-drier, soundproofing windows and safe. The bathrooms are provided with shower and in the superior rooms you also find the bath tub.

Some of the rooms are facing the valley of Ticino natural park and the characteristic town of Vizzola Ticino. Some other rooms offers the panorama of Mount Rosa peak at distance.

Food & beverage

The day begins with a rich self-service buffet for an American breakfast, served from 5.00 am to 10.00 am on the restaurant hall.

At dinner, in our restaurant from 07.00 pm to 10.30 pm you will be wrapped in a warm atmosphere and you will have the possibility to taste the specialities of our cooking.

In the wine cellar of the Villa are laying over 20.000 bottles, and all of them are selected from the genological Italian heritage; some of them of rare vintage.

The service is impeccable and cordial and will make the guest comfortable and at the centre of our operator’s professional services.

Beside the reception you find the American Bar, open every evening, the ideal place to taste an aperitif or a wine in an elegant environment

From Milano Malpensa airport terminal 1:
by car: follow direction for Novara/Torino then pay attention, past 100 meters (in the Round-About) turn right immediately for Vizzola Ticino, the hotel is at 500 meters on your right side. Or take the shuttle or taxi.
From Milano Malpensa airport terminal 2:
by car: follow direction to Novara/Torino on SS 336. Don’t exit for Casenuove-Vizzola T., but continue straight for Malpensa terminal 1 and exit, turn right immediately for vizzola ticino, the hotel is at 500 meters on your right side. Or take the shuttle or taxi.
From Milano A8 – Como Chiasso A9 – Venezia A4 – Genova A7 – Firenze-Bologna a 1: take highway A8 towards Varese and exit at Busto Arsizio aeroporto Malpensa and continue straight for about 15 Km (7 miles) on SS 336 following signes for Aeroporto Malpensa. Don’t exit for Casenuove-Vizzola T., but continue straight for Malpensa Terminal 1 and exit, then turn immediately right for Vizzola Ticino, the hotel is at 500 meters on your right side.
From A26 Alessandria/Gravellona Toce – Genova A7: take highway A 26 towards Milano A8 and exit at Busto Arsizio Aeroporto Malpensa. Continue straight for about 15 KM (7 miles) on SS 336 following signs for Aeroporto Malpensa. Do not exit for Casenuove-Vizzola T. But continue straight for Malpensa Terminal 1 and exit, then turn immediately right for Vizzola Ticino, the hotel is at 500 M. On your right side.
From Milano Centrale railway station: we recommend you to take the Malpensa shuttle bus that departs just outside the station every 20 minutes (1 H. Run) to Malpensa terminal 1. Then take the shuttle or taxi.
From Milano Cadorna railway station: we recommend you to take the Malpensa express train that departs every 30 minutes (45 minutes run) to Malpensa terminal 1. Then take the shuttle or taxi
From Milano Linate airport: take the Malpensa shuttle bus that departs every 60 minutes (90 minutes run) to Malpensa terminal 1. Then take the shuttle or taxi.
- Shuttle or taxi: hotel provides free transportation from and to Milano Malpensa airport terminal 1 or terminal 2 only between 06.00 A.M. to 11.00 A.M. And from 05.00 P.M. to 10.00 P.M. With departures every 15 M. So if you do arrive during these hours please ring the hotel and tell us the door number was you are waiting for. Please avoid to take white cabs staying in line but go inside the arrival area “a” between door 2 and 3 and look for the car hire with driver box office (C.t.M) and ask for a car to the hotel. The minimum charge is € 13 to 15,00 for max 4 people. For those who prefer to come by taxi from Milan downtown or Linate airport we inform you that they are quite expensive. For your transfers or for your shopping we recommend to hire a car.
