The hotel, entirely constructed in stone and situated on the verdant Eastern slope of mount Erice, has its own Medieval garden where you can admire the splendid panorama of the valley of Erice, the Mediterranean Sea and Mount Cofa.
There are 2 conference rooms available (one for up to 250 people and another with a capacity of 60).

The hotel also has several common areas with a television.

The hotel offers a selection of Single, Double and Triple Rooms. Each are simply furnished, comfortable and clean.

The majority of the rooms have access to a balcony with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Restauration et Boissons

Un buffet de petit déjeuner est servi tous les matins.

Le restaurant est ouvert 7 jours sur 7 pour le déjeuner et le dîner. Il y a un menu fixe composé de 4 plats (avec au choix pour le plat principal : viande, poisson ou plat végétarien). L'eau minérale et le vin maison sont compris dans le prix du repas.

Le petit bar est ouvert toute la journée et le soir.

Hotel Villa San Giovanni is located in the Medieval town of Erice, where there is a modern cable car which connects the town to the nearby beach of Trapani.

The hotel is part of monumental complex San Giovanni which includes the famous San Giovanni Battista Church, erected in the XII century, which contains exquisite marble statues by Antonello and Antonio Gagini.

Erice, a 3,000 year old village rising 750 metres above the city of Trapani, is one of the most interesting urban centres in Sicily. The town, famous for its 30 churches, medieval castle, ancient walls, stone streets, panoramas, typical sweets and exquisite Sicilian cuisine. The village is also famous for the Ettore Majorana Centre for Scientific Culture, which holds scientific courses throughout the summer.

The province is a major producer of fine table wines, dessert wines, and olive oil. Every year the wines and olive oils of Trapani win awards at the fairs held throughout Europe.

Nearby you can visit:
- Trapani: one of the most beautiful and interesting provinces of Sicily. There are several fascinating archaeological sites (Segesta, Selinunte, Mozia), historic centres (Erice, Marsala), beaches (San Vito Lo Capo, Makari, San Giuliano di Erice, Lido di Valderice), and fishing ports (Mazara del Vallo, Trapani).

- The Egadi Islands (easily reached by hydrofoil or ferry from the port of Trapani): some of the most interesting diving and swimming centres in the Mediterranean. The Lo Zingaro nature reserve, near the beautiful sandy beaches of San Vito Lo Capo, is one of the best preserved rural areas in Western Sicily.

By car (from Palermo International Airport):
- Take the A29 Autostrada towards Trapani.
- Exit at Castellamare del Golfo.
- Join the SS 187 towards Trapani.
- When you arrive in Valderice, turn right, following the signs towards Erice.
- Follow the street all the way to the end, just before the castle in Erice, turn left into Via Conte Pepoli.
- Turn right into Via San Francesco.
- Turn left into Via Gervasi and then follow this street down until you arrive at Villa San Giovanni.

By Car (from Trapani/Birgi Airport):
- Take the A29 Autostrada toward Palermo.
- Exit at Marsala.
- Turn left onto the SS 115 toward Trapani.
- Follow signs towards the A29 Austrada towards Palermo.
- Before entering the Autostrada, take rotonda (Strada Provinciale Torrebianca) towards Erice.
- At the end of the street, turn right on to the SS 187 toward Valderice.
- When you arrive in Valderice, turn left following the signs to Erice.
- Then, as above.

By bus:
There is a bus from the airport to Trapani, which is timed to coincide with every arrival.

The Segusta bus line runs from Palermo to Trapani around every 30 minutes from morning to evening.
