The hotel, located about 200 mt from the beach and 500 mt from the center, open from Easter to October, is surrounded by a beautiful private park with swimming pool and whirlpool. Bistro with petite carte and large selection of snacks that can be also enjoyed by the pool. Every room has been decorated with a picture of the sea – made especially for Villa Roma Imperiale by the painter Lorenzo Lazzeri. On the picture there is also a romantic quote about the sea, taken from some of our most famous poets: Gabriele D’Annunzio, Pablo Neruda, Giacomo Leopardi, Giuseppe Ungaretti ed Eugenio Montale are just some of them.
Food & beverage
The Villa Roma Imperiale does not have a full restaurant but, as in every respectable home, the kitchen is always open. Breakfast, rich in products and preparation, can be enjoyed until late and anywhere the guests desire: the livingroom, bedroom or by the pool. A petite carte offers different cold plates, traditional and exotic salads. At night, our guests can use the livingroom and bar to mingle, or enjoy some privacy in the library room with soft background music. Particularly special is the happy hour, when your favourite drink will be followed by inviting small bites that recall the traditional local cuisine.
Area information
Forte dei Marmi and the Versilia area are located nearby the major art cities of Tuscany like Lucca, Pisa and Firenze. Well worth visiting 12 months a year and the sea, the perfectly equipped beaches, and the many cultural events, make a vacation in Forte dei Marmi a unique and unforgettable experiences. Here squares, cloisters and contemporary art live in perfect harmony, highlighted by the exclusive marble of Carrara. There are many natural parks, like the park of the Apuane Alps, the park of Migliarino and the Massaciuccoli lake, that offer an untouched and unique background for the local flora and wild life. There are many exclusive boutiques of the most important "made in Italy" fashion designer in downtown Forte dei Marmi which also make the city a unique shopping area, thanks also to the stores that remain open on weekends throughout the year. Also important to remember are the various sport activities available: golf, tennis, trails for mountain bike and classic bikes, surf and windsurf and jogging trails. The Versilia Golf is very close to the Hotel Il Negresco: only 1.5 kilometres.
Travel information
From the airport:
-from the Pisa "Galileo Galilei" take the highway A12 direction "Genova" and then the exit "Versilia".
By Car: from Florence (including Florence "Amerigo Vespucci" Airport) take the highway A11 direction "Prato-Viareggio", then the highway A12 direction "Genova" and then take the exit "Versilia".
From North Italy take the highway A12 direction Livorno and then the exit "Versilia".
From the exit “Versilia” proceed towards Forte dei Marmi center, so you lead to the Provinciale road. At the curch you turn left, then you go straight until crossing with XX Settembre Street and the you turn right. After 100 mt. you turn left in Corsica Street and after 200 mt. on your left you will find Villa Roma Imperiale.
By Train: from the "Querceta Forte dei Marmi" station we recommend to take a taxi.
